As bronze sponsor, Wellspect can only thank all participants from all over the world who contributed to making the 58th ISCoS Annual Scientific Meeting one of the most important venues of the year – to anyone with a special interest in SCI.

On Wednesday November 6, Wellspect had the honor to participate in the SCI Nurses organization’s annual member meeting and its Study Grant 2019 award ceremony. After the presentation of previous year’s award-winning study by Randi Steensgaard, this year’s winner was announced by Maria Lennerås from Wellspect.

With the motivation “The aim of the study is to gather information on the treatment options for bowel issues in Nordic Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients. This interesting study has a potential to improve the treatment of SCI patients because of the study’s close relationship to clinical practice.”, the jury chose Malin Nordin, RN/Urotherapist at The Spinal Cord Injury Unit of Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden.

We congratulate Malin on her achievement and look forward to follow up on her research during the coming year.
