For more than 10 years, Wellspect’s global plant uses energy from renewable sources. With a host of initiatives completed and in the pipeline, we spoke to Magnus Hjalber, Senior Facilities Manager at our Mölndal plant, about the challenges and the progress Wellspect is making with our commitment to sustainability.

The balance between quality and the environment is very important, not least for those who use our products everyday. We spoke to Håkan Strandberg, Vice President of Sales for Northern Europe, about the measures and initiatives Wellspect are taking to continuously improve our commitment to sustainability.

In recent years, Wellspect has worked diligently with sustainability – in all aspects of the processes and work at our production site and headquarters in Mölndal, Sweden. In 2021 we are stepping up to include all markets around the globe in our efforts to become truly sustainable in everything we do. 

Despite the challenges caused by the pandemic – around the world, Wellspect, our partners and our distributors have managed to maintain the delivery of our products, and our duty of care to our users. Nurses have been critical to this effort.
