We spoke with Christoph Kimling, Wellspect's Marketing Manager for the DACH region, about the impact of our latest sustainability initiatives for our partners, users and organization.

Samhall is a government-funded organization that trains and matches people with disabilities to the right job. This is a sustainable business concept, and one that has seen Samhall named the most sustainable company in Europe. Samhall is working with companies that share their values on diversity in the labor market. For more than 20 years, Wellspect has enjoyed a collaboration with Samhall, with nearly 200 Samhall employees working at Wellspect’s production site in Mölndal, Sweden.

Wellspect has made a commitment to sustainability - but sustainability does not only refer to the critical initiatives we take at our production sites to minimize environmental impact. It also applies to the working conditions of our employees, the standards we demand of our partners, and the quality of life of our users. We spoke to Lucia in Italy about how these products have made a real difference to her quality of life.

For most of us, 2020 was a truly challenging year, for some of us more than others. We support people suffering from continence issues - our users are dependent upon our essential products, everyday. As well as dealing with the pandemic, they also have obstacles to navigate every day, year in, year out. For them, our products are vital for quality of life. Our goal is to make a real difference, every single day. With the help of our products, our users enjoy a more free, more independent life.
